Gina M. Crovato, Au.D.

Dr. Crovato has been an audiologist since 2001, earning her Master’s Degree in audiology at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and went on to pursue her Doctorate of Audiology through the Arizona School of Health Sciences. She is licensed and certified in audiology in both Virginia and Maryland and is a fellow with the American Academy of Audiology.

During her fellowship year, Dr. Crovato worked on a multi-disciplinary team in both clinical and educational environments, including doing some consulting with educators and child care providers of children with hearing loss. Since then, she has worked closely with otolaryngologists and in private practice. She specializes in high-end digital hearing aid technology and especially enjoys the rewarding feeling she gets in establishing relationships with people and helping them improve their lives through better hearing.

Dr. Crovato is a native of Fairfax County, Virginia. She enjoys weekends on the water with her husband and young sons in her all-too infrequent spare time, volunteers with a local animal rescue organization, and regularly takes spinning classes.

Melissa A. Yunes, Au.D.

Dr. Melissa Yunes earned both her Master’s and Doctorate of Audiology from the University of Pittsburgh, and her Bachelor of Arts in Communicative Disorders from Indiana University. She is a certified Audiologist in both Maryland and Virginia and a fellow with the American Academy of Audiology.

Dr. Yunes specializes in adult and geriatric diagnostics, and is highly trained in the selection, fitting, and verification of digital hearing aid technology. Her approach to helping patients centers on taking the time to explain their hearing loss, helping them understand how it impacts their lives, and how hearing aid technology can help. She truly desires to help her patients live life to the fullest and enjoy the sounds and experiences that they have been missing.

In her free time, Dr. Yunes enjoys reading, traveling, and being outdoors with her husband and three daughters.
